Trying to stay caught up

So Ive been trying to get all caught up and stay on top of this blogging thing.  I really do like doing it, I love being able to go back and read things from previous months ect.  We have been so busy with hunting, sister and brother’s games, school, work, and other activities.  Yesterday was the 1st night in over a week that we had dinner at home!  My house is begging me to clean it, but I continue to put it off.  I just cant muster up the energy to clean.  I think its because its all so overwhelming and i have no clue where to even begin in this disaster!    Anyways, today is my Friday at school, which I am so happy because that means 3 days of no driving.  Now that I think about it thats not true for this week because I have to drive an hour tomorrow for an eye appt.  Ugh..oh well its a much needed appt.  Back to the school topic, I am doing very well so far if I dont say so myself.  Im now into Medical Terminology and my current grade for that class is a 100.5%!  I am happy but frustrated because it could have been higher if I wouldn't have been such a ditz on my homework and get a 98% on it.  Oh well, I will take the A+:)  Its funny, I was never one to stress about my grades in school, or even my first couple years in college.  If it was a B or even  C ,I was happy, and an A was amazing, but this time around I get upset if I get anything less than 100%  I guess its not a bad thing, it makes me push myself, but its just funny to me how I did a complete 360 0n my outlook of school…I think  its because this is the material that I am REALLY interested in:)  After school I came home, got the girls, and we’ve just been hanging around our messy house since.  Here are a few pics from tonight:)

Uncle Josh’s visit

My brother came home for about two weeks recently, he came back, not really to see us, but to hunt haha.  We were all excited to see him though, no matter his reasons for coming back:)  Kaylynn was sooo excited that uncle Josh was here.  When I told her he was coming home she said “ oh  my gosh, no way!  He is going to tickle me and it is going to be so funny”  She is cracks me up!  I know she misses him lots because she always talks about him and every art project or piece of paper for that matter, is made for uncle Josh:)  I was also excited for him to come home and see his other niece as well.  He was home when Lydia was born, but left when she was a little over a week old, so she has changed lots since the last time he saw her.  Here are a couple pictures I managed to get of the girls and their uncle while he was home:) DSCN2235 DSCN2237

Green Bluff 10-17-10

So this year I thought it would be fun to take the girls to Green Bluff.  None of us had ever been to a pumpkin patch before.  Tim, the girls, Matt, and I went, the rest of the family was busy.  We first had to stop at Wal-Mart and have some b-day pics for Kaylynn taken:)  By the way, she took awesome photos:)  So proud of her.  There are so many options up at Green Bluff, but we decided to go to Siemens farm.  We all had so much fun!
Kaylynn got to ride a train, which she's been begging me to do

We were going to do the corn maze but got busy with other things and by the time we wanted to it was late and the girls were tired.  We loved being able to go out and pick out our own pumpkins.  Kaylynn would get so excited over one pumpkin, put it in the wheelbarrow, and then 2 steps later find another one she wanted :)  We went through this process many times before settling on the PERFECT one:)  DSCN2371
We all picked out our perfect pumpkins, even Lydi.

Before we left for home, we decided to try some pumpkin doughnuts and I am so glad we tried them because they were AWESOME!  We headed home, full on doughnuts, pumpkins in the truck, and 3 very tired kids.  It was such a fun Sunday.  I look forward to this being a tradition for our family each fall.  Hopefully next time we can get around to the apple picking ect.

More bday and a wedding

The weekend after Kaylynn’s bday, we had a very good family friend, Jaymie Miner(Sather) get married (10-9-10) It was a beautiful ceremony/reception and we couldn't be happier for them:)  Tim took off for hunting camp that night with my dad and brother, but unfourtunantly neither one of them were lucky…maybe deer season, when I get out there and hunt, we will have better luck;) The next day was my cousin Sami’s 5th bday (10-10-10)  The girls and I along with Matt, Nate,Mom and Marlee, went to pizza factory to help celebrate her special day!  It was lots of fun!  Kaylynn had a great time playing with her cousins once again and Sami got lots of cool gifts:)  Marlee and I went up to hunting camp that night after the party, it was really rainy out and the road was pretty muddy, but we made it up there.  We soon found out why girls aren't allowed at camp.  We opened the camper door and were hit with the most god awful smell ever..yuck! haha.  We stayed for awhile then headed home to get the girls, Marlee drove because I was nervous to drive down the hill in the mud.  So once again we had another fun filled weekend:)  I started Medical terminology that Monday, and the 1st day we had 75 terms that we had to learn and know the meaning of by that next day.  That was a big smack in teh face that school had actually started for me haha.  I did great though and so far on my 3 tests I have gotten a 102%, 100%, and 100%!  Started another chapter on Monday and we have our 1st uiz over that tommorow (10-20-10) so I hope to do as well as I did on the last 3.  Here are some pictures from our fun filled weekend. Its been awhile~ HAPPY 3rd BDAY Kaylynn!

So Ive kinda fell off the bloggin’ band wagon!  We’ve been super busy these past couple week, I haven't  had to time sit down and blog.  Im going to start with Kaylynn’s birthday:)  Our little girl turned 3 October2nd!!!  Like always, I absolutly cannot believe its been three years.  It has been an amazing three years and Tim and I have learned so much as parents.  Kaylynn is such an amazing brilliant, sassy little girl:)  She is way too much like her momma:)  She is by far the smartest 3 yr old I have even known. She can count to 15, sing all the ABC’s, knows her colors, shapes, can say the entire pledge of allegiance, can draw shapes and the letter “A”, match items ect.  She has a very strong headed personality.  Stubborn, sarcastic, and hilarious!  Some of the things she says amazes me, she just doesn't seem old enough to say or do some of the things she does.

Her birthday fell on a Saturday this year and the weather was absolutely beautiful, blue skies and high 70’s!  We took full advantage of this nice weather and had her bday party at Cherry Bend Boat Park.  She decided that she wanted a Hello Kitty themed party, so we got hello kitty invites, plates, goody bags, and aunt Kari made an awesome Hello Kitty cake:)  There was about 35 friends and family who attended the party and helped celebrate Kaylynn.  We barbequed hot dogs and hamburgers and had salads ect.  Kaylynn had a blast playing with her cousins and friends.  We hardly saw her the whole time because she was so busy playing on all the park toys.  Kaylynn also received some pretty cool gifts.  Our gift to her as well as from her grandparents was a swing set, which so absolutely LOVES!  She also got princess dress up outfits and shoes, a princess scooter, clothes, moon dough, coloring items, princess bean bag, shoes(twinkle toes), and a bowling set.  All in all it was a great day celebrating the life of our little princess Kaylynn Lorraine:)  DSCN1930 DSCN1937 DSCN1995 DSCN2035

8yrs!!!

So last night Tim and I were getting ready for bed and I was setting the alarm on my phone and just happened to catch the date which then rang a bell in my memory.  I said to Tim “do you know what today is?” he said “ Sunday” and I said “no the actual date”  He said “ oh crap is it the 26th”  We had both forgot that yesterday was our 8yr anniversary!  Now that we have a wedding anniversary, our other one kind of became forgotten:(
Its so hard to believe that it has been eight years since this amazing relationship started.  We were both so young(still are), he was a senior I was a freshmen.  It was homecoming week and girls in my PE class that are his age kept mentioning to me how he liked me:)  One day while walking down to our cars he came up and asked if he could talk to me, it was pouring down rain so we went to his truck and he asked me to go to the dance with him.  We hung out at all the homecoming events, and then one night during that week, after his soccer game, he called me and asked if I wanted to start dating him, and its been the most amazing and challenging thing I have ever experienced besides being a parent.  He really is my best friend, we can talk about anything and everything.  We make each other laugh, cry, and want to pull our hair out, but at the end of each day we are still in love with each other just as much and even more than we were in the beginning.  We have been through so many changes these past eight years.  From him graduating and going to college, long distance relationship for 2 1/2 yrs, me graduating, moving in to our own apartment an hour from home, going to college together, getting engaged, becoming pregnant, moving home, new jobs, ,becoming parents, getting married, becoming parents again, back to school, and all the ups and downs in between.   Many people wouldn't have survived alot of the things we have been through, but its really only made us stronger, and I thank god every day for blessing me with such an amazing man that I am able to grow old with.  I love you Timothy Wayne~ to the moon and back and a million times more:)  Happy 8yr anniversary!!!
